VTG 80s Retro Fancy Frocks Phyllis Gerrans Metallic Turquoise Dress Sz. 11

Vintage 80's style Fancy Frocks Phyllis Gerrans Turquoise Dress Size 11. This stunning dress has black sequin leaves on each shoulder, and the metallic turquoise color is definitely an eye catcher! From what I was told, it was only worn once, at a wedding in the 80s. The color is still vibrant and beautiful, and all of the sequins are in tact.

I tested the zipper, and it works great. There's really nothing wrong with this dress. It is slightly wrinkled in the back, probably from being in a closet for all these years. The tag is also wrinkled, but that could be ironed out. The only flaw I see is a tiny pin hole near the leaf. It's really hard to see. I only caught it when I was examining the dress up close. (Please see last photo) There is also a slight closet smell to the dress.

It's not a gross smell, but to those that are concerned, I figured I should point it out. If taken to a dry clean, it would be as good as new. Overall, this is a lovely dress and was well cared for.

Length: 37 (From the shoulder where the bottom of the sequin leaf is to the bottom of the dress). Hips: 20 (When Stretched out). Waist: 16-17 (When Stretched Out). Shoulder: From Leaf to Leaf: 14. Please Note: The ruffled shoulders kept falling off when I tried it on. This may fit perfectly for others, but if it's loose, you can always hem it in the back to make it fit perfectly.
